Full Job Description
This role is for a dual position of Kitchen Assistant and Laundry Assistant. We welcome CV's for candidates interested in filling both positions.
Role breakdown: Kitchen assistant 22.5 hours and Laundry Assistant 14 hours. Total hours 36.5 hours
Kitchen Assistant Role (22.5 hours):
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be assisting in the provision of nutritious meals under hygienic conditions while being aware of and act in accordance with current food laws and regulations, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.
Whether you are preparing vegetables for a curry night, delivering a resident's breakfast to their room, washing up after the lunch period, or assisting residents with a baking morning you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.

Laundry Assistant (14 hours):
The Role
As a Laundry Assistant, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective laundry service for residents to ensure they have clean and comfortable clothes available as required, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.
Whether you are folding laundry items with a resident, ironing a resident's favourite pair of trousers, or ensuring the laundry room is clean and tidy you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
