Job Description

Looking for a hands-on manufacturing role with a stable and respected employer? We're recruiting a Laser Operator to join a leading manufacturer within the heavy-duty vehicle sector. Working as part of a skilled production team, you'll operate advanced laser cutting machinery to manufacture high-quality metal components to exact specifications.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating laser cutting machines


• Reading and interpreting engineering/CAD drawings


• Manufacturing components from stainless steel and aluminium


• Using measuring equipment including Verniers, callipers and micrometres


• Carrying out quality checks and completing production documentation


• Performing routine machine maintenance and daily TPM checks


• Working to production targets while maintaining high quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Previous laser operator experience


• Ability to read engineering drawings


• Experience using precision measuring equipment


• Strong attention to detail and quality focus


• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently

Desirable: Experience with laser cutting machinery, particularly Amada, Trumpf or Bystronic systems.
