Summary
Appointments are made to the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the person appointed is required to be sufficiently flexible to undertake their main clinical duties at any of the sites within the Trust and/or to change their base hospital. The ENT Consultants will delegate specific duties and responsibilities in accordance with experience/competence and the needs of the department. Changes in duties and responsibilities will be agreed with the Consultant to whom the post holder will be responsible, i.e. Mr Showkat Mirza, Clinical Lead. The Specialty Registrar will cover one nights on-call including Sheffield Childrens Hospital, including prospective cover for one another, as well as providing prospective cover for other registrars. The duties of the post may change from time to time according to service needs and the experience/interests of the appointee. It will be a variable timetable but will also cover hot on call day gaps
