Introduction
Join our friendly landscaping team and gain hands-on experience. You will learn practical skills including laying patios and driveways, installing fencing, pergolas and decking, developing brickwork skills, laying turf, and creating bespoke garden spaces.
About the Employer
We are a small, friendly landscaping business specialising in high-quality hard landscaping and garden construction. We create bespoke outdoor spaces, including patios, driveways, fencing, pergolas, brickwork and turfing. As a small business, our apprentice will gain plenty of hands-on experience, working closely with experienced landscapers and learning a wide range of practical skills on different projects.
What You'll Do
- Preparing ground and work areas for landscaping projects
- Mixing and using materials such as concrete and mortar
- Using hand tools and landscaping equipment safely
- Helping with bespoke garden construction projects
- Keeping tools, equipment and work areas clean and tidy
- Working alongside experienced landscapers and learning new skills on the job
- Laying turf and preparing areas for planting
- Laying patios, paving and driveways
- Installing fencing, gates and pergolas
- Developing brickwork and basic construction skills
- As skills and experience develop, taking on more responsibility and working more independently on different aspects of landscaping projects
Training Outcome
Possible full-time job after apprenticeship.
