Land Surveyor

Select Plant Hire are looking for an experienced Senior Land Surveyor to join our growing surveying team, supporting some of the UK's most complex infrastructure, rail, energy and construction projects. This is a hands-on technical role for a surveyor who enjoys working with the latest technology, delivering accurate survey solutions and seeing projects through from start to finish. You'll typically remain with a project for its full lifecycle, whether that's a few weeks or several months. What you'll be doing

• Carrying out topographical, engineering and as-built surveys.
• Establishing and maintaining primary and secondary control networks.
• Setting out and dimensional control.
• Laser scanning and point cloud processing.
• Producing survey drawings and models.
• Earthworks quantification and reporting.
• Working closely with site engineering and project teams.
• Supporting digital engineering and BIM workflows., Company car or car allowance.
• Travel, accommodation and expenses covered where required.
• Mobility support for longer-term project assignments.
• Flexible travel arrangements.
• Flexible approach to home working when project commitments allow.

  Minimum 3 years' experience in land or engineering surveying.
• Strong experience using Leica equipment and software.
• Knowledge of Cyclone 3DR.
• Experience with laser scanning, control networks and setting out.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and survey data.
• Degree, NVQ, TSA qualification or equivalent.
