Laboratory Technician - Pharmacy

The University of Lancashire wishes to recruit a Laboratory Technician to join our Technical Services team who provide support to the wide variety of laboratories at our Preston campus. The successful candidate will primarily be focused on supporting undergraduate classes and research within our state-of-the-art laboratories based in Preston.

Duties will include the set up and preparation of laboratories, providing day to day technical support and advice to staff and to students studying a diverse range of subjects in the Pharmacy area, from dispensing medication to tablet manufacturing. Although the successful candidate will be required to show flexibility in supporting several areas, the primary function for this role is to ensure delivery of a wide range of Pharmacy courses.
