Avantor is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician, named a "Bonding Materials Scientist" to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis at our Reading site., As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for Bonded Silica batch production & testing, which includes:

• Conducting synthesis reactions to bond various stationary phases onto different media - a process that can take up to 8 days.
• Assembling chromatography columns, performing tests, and reporting results and observations to the Manager for batch approval.
• Utilizing safety and quality systems to enhance productivity, efficiency, and batch pass rates.
