Laboratory Technician (Entry Level)

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and has an interest in construction, materials, or laboratory testing. Previous experience in a construction or physical property testing laboratory would be advantageous, but full training will be provided. There are also excellent opportunities for career progression within our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing test results in accordance with documented procedures, standards and specifications.
- Carrying out testing/sampling activities in compliance with company and industry standards.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy working environment.
- Ensuring laboratory equipment is calibrated, safe and suitable for use.
- Handling materials (soil, concrete, asphalt etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring confidentiality of all customer information obtained or created during laboratory activities.
- Working within our Red Lab testing facility.

Requirements

- Strong oral, written and numeracy skills.

- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Excel desirable).
