Full Job Description
- Sample analysis using a variety of analytical techniques such as ELISA utilizing MSD, I3X and Luminex Technologies and Flow cytometry, cell culture
- Producing high quality data and documentation in line with the requirements of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
- QC checking of data to ensure GLP requirements are met
- Maintaining laboratory equipment
- Providing input and participating in project meetings, planning, monitoring and guiding project work
- Learning to assist in setting up and performing method development and validation of various Immunotoxicology assays
- Training less experienced staff in processes, techniques and use of the instrumentation and acting as a mentor
Bachelor's degree relevant to Immunology and Immunotoxicology e.g. Immunology, Biology, Biomedical Science, Recent years of relevant experience working within industry as a scientist with expertise in ligand binding, flow cytometry or cell based assays - Experience working in a GxP regulatory environment is advantageous
- Experience with technologies such as Luminex, MSD, ELISA, FACS Lyric, or cell culture is preferred Working as part of the I&I department, you will undertake analysis of pre-clinical and clinical samples within the operational team. The work in this department supports multiplexed and high sensitivity biomarker analysis, immunogenicity assessment, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic assessment of novel therapeutics.
