Full Job Description
We are seeking to appoint outstanding, highly motivated, and enthusiastic KS2 Class Teachers to join our Key Stage 2 team. This a temporary, full time position beginning 1^st September 2026 to cover a maternity leave. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a rich, creative curriculum that inspires children, builds their independence, and prepares them confidently for their final year of primary school for the next stage in their development,
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
- Assess, track, and report on pupils' progress, adapting teaching to support and challenge all learners
- Maintain a positive, well-managed, and inspiring classroom environment
- Foster strong partnership with parents, carers, and external support staff
- Contribute actively to the wider school community and participate in staff meetings and professional development, We warmly welcome prospective candidates to visit out school. Visits are available on the following dates:
- Monday 18^th June
- Thursday 21^st June
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers are welcome - Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 5 or Year 6)

Home Office guidance states that candidates must evidence their right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment, either as a UK or Irish citizen, under the EU Settlement scheme or having secured any other relevant work visa.
