Contract: Fixed Term Maternity Cover - ending 24 March 2027

Salary: Westholme School Pay Scale
Reports to: Head of Prep
Starting date: September 2026
Closing date: Friday 8 May 2026 at 9am

Job Description:
As a KS1 Class Teacher at Westholme School, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to children aged 5-7 years. You will create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence in all pupils.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified teacher status or equivalent qualification suitable for primary education
- A strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum requirements
- Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
- Ability to plan engaging lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
- Basic knowledge of assessment strategies within primary education
