Full Job Description

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a conscientious, inspiring and enthusiastic KS1 teacher. This role will be based in a mixed Year 1/ Year 2 class and the ideal person will be someone who consistently delivers outstanding teaching, supporting our children to be the best they can be.

The successful candidate will have successfully completed their ECT and have at least two years experience of teaching in KS1, including the use of continuous provision and the teaching of phonics to develop early reading skills. They will demonstrate high expectations for our children’s learning and behaviour and will be committed to overcoming social disadvantage.

+ Recent and successful experience of teaching within KS1
+ Effective teaching and learning strategies and their impact on pupil progress

+ Ability to create a calm and orderly learning environment
