Kitchen Porter - The Tapa Republic - London

The Kitchen Porter plays an essential role in supporting the kitchen team and maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation throughout the kitchen.,

• Washing and maintaining kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery and utensils.
• Keeping all kitchen, preparation and storage areas clean and organised.
• Following daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Ensuring waste is correctly separated and disposed of.
• Keeping floors, walls, equipment and work areas clean and safe.
• Supporting chefs with basic food preparation when required.
• Receiving and storing deliveries correctly when required.
• Following all Food Safety, Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Working efficiently as part of the kitchen and wider restaurant team.
  
  Previous experience in a restaurant or busy kitchen environment is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided.
