Full Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support the smooth day-to-day operation of our takeaway bakery kitchen. The successful candidate will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation, and ensure equipment, utensils and work areas are kept clean and organised.,
- Wash pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
- Keeping floors, surfaces, storage and kitchen areas clean and tidy.
- Regular Deep Clean required.
- Assist with basic food preparation when required.
- Dispose of waste correctly and maintain clean bin and recycling areas.
- Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
- Complete opening and closing cleaning duties as required.
- Carry out any other reasonable kitchen duties as requested.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking. - Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
- Willing to learn and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to manage physically demanding duties, including standing for extended periods and safely handling kitchen equipment and supplies. Experience Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
The role involves working in a busy kitchen environment and includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays depending on business requirements.
