Kitchen Porter - Manchester Airport

Kitchen Assistant at Manchester Airport Terminal 1,

• To ensure that the Company's and statutory regulations regarding hygiene, safety, and cleanliness are complied with and all tasks undertaken according to Safeguard regulations.
• To clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
• Empty bins and ensure waste is separated as per the regulations
• To dispose of waste materials from catering areas to designated compactors
• To operate industrial dishwashers and glasswashers in all catering areas.
• To transport provisions, equipment and other catering related items as required.
• To maintain clean working environment at all times, with special regard to hygiene
• General Kitchen cleanliness, including deep cleans
  
  Strong communication skills
• Basic food hygiene
• Highly motivated.
• Attention to detail.
• Airport Lounge experience would be useful.
• Flexibility required accommodating shifts patterns.

Package Description
• Rate of Pay : 13.90 per hour
• Shifts : 2 x 5am-2pm and 2 x 2pm-2230pm (4 on 2 off)
• MUST be able to provide 5 years of working history in UK & UK address history
• The role will be made permanent upon gaining references for full pass.
