- Supports the smooth operation of all Food & Beverage areas by ensuring kitchens, service stations and back-of-house spaces remain clean, organised and fully functional throughout each shift.
- Upholds strict hygiene and sanitation standards by consistently cleaning equipment, surfaces and storage areas to maintain a safe working environment for colleagues and guests.
- Handles dishwashing and waste-management processes efficiently, ensuring crockery, cutlery and kitchen tools are cleaned, stored and ready for service at all times.
- Monitors stock levels of cleaning materials and stewarding supplies, reporting shortages and assisting with restocking to keep operations running seamlessly.
- Works closely with chefs, servers and event teams to anticipate operational needs and provide timely support during busy service periods.
- Follows all safety, chemical-handling and equipment-use procedures to minimise risks and maintain compliance with hotel policies and legislation.
- Contributes to a positive team culture by communicating effectively, assisting colleagues proactively and maintaining a professional, guest-focused attitude.
- Adapts to changing business demands by supporting different outlets or departments when required, ensuring consistent service delivery across the hotel.
