Full Job Description
- Dishwashing - Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment either by hand or using industrial dishwashers
- Kitchen Cleanliness - Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, countertops, and food preparation areas. Empty rubbish bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
- Food Preparation - Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients
- Inventory Management - Assist in receiving, storing, and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Compliance with Health and safety - maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working order
Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to regular weekday shifts - A team player with a positive attitude
- Able to follow processes and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Flexible with shift times, No formal education is required, but a high school diploma or equivalent may be preferred
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is a plus
