Kitchen Porter

We are looking for a Part Time ##employmenttype## Weekend Kitchen Porter to join the team in our Restaurant in Brookside Garden Centre., As a Kitchen Porter, you will provide a critical service to both our front and back of house operation ensuring a constant supply of clean crockery, cutlery and equipment. You will be trained in the safe operation of the pot wash equipment and take responsibility for a productive and clean work area.

What you will be doing as a Kitchen Porter?

Using equipment, process all cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher.

Make sure waste is disposed of using appropriate recycling bins

Take care to avoid breakages

Ensure all crockery and dishes are cleaned properly before being used

Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards

Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.

Understanding of food hygiene requirements

Our competitive rates of pay range from £10.40 to £12.75 per hour dependent on age.
