Kitchen / Domestic Assistant

To provide domestic & kitchen domestic duties within a Registered Care Home in which personal care, emotional and practical support is provided to people with eligible care and support needs. This includes people living with dementia, in an environment that enables, supports and maintains a homely atmosphere ensuring that the rights, dignity, diversity, independence and wellbeing of service users is maintained.

To undertake catering duties / kitchen domestic tasks as required to prepare a nutritious meal for residents taking into consideration their dietary needs & references.

To undertake all general domestic tasks throughout the home., All employees are required to comply with their individual and organisational responsibilities under the Data Protection Act, the Information Security Policy and relevant supporting operational policies. Any matters of a confidential nature must not be disclosed or passed to any unauthorised persons or third party under any circumstance either during or after employment except in the proper course of your employment or as required by law, Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council or both.

Ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
