Full Job Description
Swanlea School is an OFSTED Outstanding, high-performing 11-18 mixed comprehensive school located in the heart of Tower Hamlets. We are driven by a clear moral purpose and a shared commitment to providing an exceptional education for every young person, regardless of background or circumstance. Our Swanlea Values underpin everything we do, shaping our culture of high expectations, respect, inclusion and ambition for both students and staff. We are proud to be one of the lead schools within the newly established Weavers' Federation, working in close partnership with two local primary schools to strengthen educational provision, raise standards and ensure continuity of learning across all phases. Through this collaboration, we are building a strong, coherent educational community that supports staff development, shares best practice and maximises opportunities for children and young people across our local area. Swanlea School serves a diverse community, with almost 50% of students eligible for Pupil Premium. We firmly believe that social disadvantage is not a barrier to achievement. Our inclusive ethos, ambitious culture and strong pastoral support ensure that every student is supported to thrive. As a school rooted in one of the most diverse communities in London, we celebrate the richness of our student and staff population and actively promote equality, inclusion and belonging. Our mission is to empower every learner to achieve academic excellence, develop strong character and leave Swanlea equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed in higher education, employment and life beyond school. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and hardworking School Kitchen Team, based in a beautifully refurbished canteen and kitchen. - A forward-thinking, driven, and supportive leadership team
- A strong and stable financial environment
- A vibrant and welcoming community of children, parents, staff, and governors
- The opportunity to work in a creative and supportive environment with a committed team

- A friendly and diverse school community Additional benefits include:
- Staff discount scheme (Blue Light Card, Discount for Teachers)
