What You'll Be Doing
As a Kitchen Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Supporting the catering team with food preparation
Helping with the preparation and serving of meals
Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy
Washing up and maintaining excellent hygiene standards
Following food safety and allergen procedures
Assisting during busy lunch and service periods
Working closely with the wider school catering team
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable
An Enhanced DBS
2 references
Food Safety Level 2 Certificate
Food Allergen Certificate
Or willingness to obtain the required food safety and allergen certificates
