Full Job Description
Are you ready to get hands-on in a fast-paced, friendly environment? Moorland Kitchen at Exeter Airport is looking for a proactive and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our close-knit Summer Team on a fixed-term contract from April to October. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a busy airport kitchen while being part of a supportive and welcoming team. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support our chefs with food preparation and service
- Prepare grab-and-go items for busy airport passengers
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly
- Take responsibility for pot washing and general cleaning duties
- Assist with stock rotation and accepting deliveries
- Work collaboratively with your teammates to ensure high standards at all times
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn - Someone who enjoys working as part of a team
- A flexible approach and readiness to help wherever needed
- Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
Fixed term contract: April - October - 40 hours per week (Summer Team role)
- Shifts may start as early as 02:30
- Due to the early starts and limited public transport, reliable personal transport is essential WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
