Kitchen Assistant - Bakehouse by Signorelli - London

We're looking for an organised and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bakehouse by Signorelli, an artisan bakery in East London. If you enjoy preparing good food, working as part of a team and keeping a busy kitchen running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you. About the role You'll prepare croissants, focaccia sandwiches and bakery products, including cookies and loaf cakes, and help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for production. Full training on our products, recipes and kitchen procedures will be provided.

• Experience working in a restaurant kitchen or bakery would be an advantage.
• Good organisation, attention to detail and a reliable approach to work.
• An understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling.
• Willingness to carry out daily cleaning and routine kitchen upkeep.
• A positive attitude and good teamwork and communication skills.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to communicate with colleagues and follow recipes and safety instructions.
• Weekend availability is essential.
• Ability to travel reliably to the Bakehouse, including for early starts.
• Flexibility to work occasional additional hours when required.
  
  The rota will include a combination of the following shifts:
• 6:00 am-2:30 pm
• 7:00 am-3:30 pm
• 8:00 am-4:30 pm
