Full Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Central Bedfordshire to assist with the appointment of a Kitchen Assistant, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration., A Kitchen Assistant is required to support the kitchen team in the absence of the Chef Manager and assist with the smooth running of kitchen operations. Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and cooking as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Support the kitchen team with daily duties and meal service.
Previous kitchen or catering experience would be beneficial. - Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Reliable, flexible and able to support kitchen operations when required.
