The home provides specialist Nursing, Dementia and Complex Care for up to 42 residents in a safe and supportive environment focused on dignity, wellbeing and person centred care.

• Position: Kitchen Assistant


• Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour


• Hours: Contracted to 40 hours per week


• Benefits: Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided


• Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks (based on a full-time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands-on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.

• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene

• Good communication skills


• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential
