What You'll Be Doing
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play an important role in helping the school kitchen run smoothly. Your duties may include:
Assisting with basic food preparation and serving
Helping the catering team prepare meals
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Washing up and keeping kitchen areas organised
Following food safety and allergen procedures
Supporting the wider catering team during busy service periods

We're looking for a Kitchen Assistant who is:
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Comfortable working in a busy school kitchen
Able to work well as part of a team
Enhanced DBS cleared
Able to provide 2 references
Holds Food Safety Level 2 and Food Allergen Certificates - or is willing to obtain them
Experienced in a catering or kitchen environment is desirable, but not essential
