Full Job Description
The Bank Kitchen Assistant role at Agincare Homes Holdings in High Wycombe offers a rewarding opportunity to work in the health and social care sector. The role involves supporting the chef in creating healthy, balanced meals and snacks while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen., As a Bank Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the chef in preparing meals and snacks, ensuring dietary requirements and allergens are properly understood. You will also be expected to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, working as part of a team as well as independently when needed. Good communication and engagement with residents is also an important aspect of the role.,
- Support the chef to create healthy/balanced meals and snacks, and ensuring a good understanding of various dietary requirements and allergens
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen area, with good levels of hygiene particularly in line with COSHH regulations and health and safety protocols.
- Work as a team player, but have the ability to lone work when needed, effectively managing your time.
- Offer support, communication and engagement to the residents.
A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK - Previous experience in a kitchen setting is essential.
- As this is a Bank position, you will be expected to be flexible to work days, nights and weekends as and when required., You don't have to have worked in care before, a previous role in a different catering environment is great for someone willing to learn. We'd like you to have some prior knowledge of food safety and COSHH. You will be a caring, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to show empathy to the needs of others., Previous experience in a kitchen setting is essential. You should also have some prior knowledge of food safety and COSHH regulations.
