Full Job Description
Provide an administrative, analytical and research/intelligence support role, maintain and update all relevant computer systems. - Record and maintain secure data for internal and external use onto various intelligence systems ensuring that the information is accurate and complies with current policy and practice. - Request information and receive enquiries from internal and external sources to record and impact accurate relevant intelligence information, which complies with current legislation. -Provide advice, and offer support and assistance to vulnerable victims and witnesses involved in Public Protection cases. - Share information in relation to Public Protection issues with statutory agencies, supporting the multi-agency ethos. - Undertake any other work as directed including working at different locations in order to provide business continuity and to enable the Unit as a whole to fulfil force-wide needs., Applicants should be aware that it is not always possible to carry out adequate vetting checks on persons who have not been resident within the UK for the last five years. - Pass management vetting
- Able to demonstrate good level of numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised and work on own initiative on a regular basis.
- Ability to prioritise own workload on a daily basis.
- Be proficient in computer systems (E.G. Niche / Corvus / Storm / NICE / Word)
- Ability to pass the VISOR administrative course and PND users course.
- 37hrs per week based at Dewsbury.
- Flexibility to support the department as directed by Supervision
