This role is offered as a full or part-time opportunity, a job share over 2-3 days a week will also be a considered., As a Key Stage 1 or 2 Teacher, you will:
- Be responsible for the quality of learning of each individual pupil within your classes.
- Positively engage and encourage all pupils to realise their full potential.
- Prepare, deliver, and evaluate high-quality lessons in accordance with the schemes of work as directed by the Head of Junior Prep.
- Be responsible for the day-to-day teaching of all children in your class to ensure that every pupil makes excellent progress and achieves their personal best in all areas of learning.
- Maintain a stimulating classroom environment for your pupils.
- Have an active interest in changes and advances in teaching methods.
- Attend parents' evenings and liaise with parents/carers as necessary.
- Prepare regular written reports on the children.
- Have confident knowledge of IT.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. - Experience teaching Key Stage 1 or 2.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
