Junior Sous Chef - The Vanbrugh - London

We are looking for a passionate, motivated and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our growing kitchen team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, supporting daily kitchen operations while maintaining exceptional food quality and consistency.,

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare and deliver dishes to consistently high standards.
• Supervise and motivate junior kitchen team members.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and minimising food waste.
• Ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
• Contribute to menu development and continuous kitchen improvement.
  
  Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or experienced Chef de Partie ready to progress.
• Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for food.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and leadership abilities.
• Good understanding of food safety, HACCP and kitchen procedures.
• Ability to remain organised and perform under pressure.
• Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn and develop.
