Full Job Description
As Junior Sous Chef you will:
Support the Head Chef in daily operations
Oversee pasta and pizza sections
Maintain high standards of quality and consistency
Train and guide junior staff
Ensure mise en place is always at the highest level
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Italian restaurant
Currently a Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up OR already a Junior Sous Chef
Strong, proven knowledge of:
Fresh pasta production (pasta fresca) - essential
Pizza & dough fermentation
Traditional Italian sauces and techniques
Either Italian OR must have solid experience working in authentic Italian kitchens
Passionate about cooking - la cucina è una vocazione, non solo un lavoro
Punctual, reliable, organised
Able to lead a section and support the Head Chef
Calm under pressure, with strong service skills
A busy, quality-driven Italian restaurant using the finest Italian ingredients.
