Full Job Description

We are looking for a Sister/ Charge Nurse who is looking to join our Pre-Endoscopy Department. They will be involved in pre-assessment and supporting the development of staff clinical skills. We are hoping to find the right individual, who is motivated, dynamic and committed to clinical quality and continuous improvement., Pre-assessment of both in-patients and outpatients face to face or via telephone prior to their visit to Endoscopy. Gain consent using diagnostic and some therapeutic procedures. Provide medication required for their test under PGD or prescription, and guidance on preparation including current medication advice. To seek support from MDT when required.

To be professionally accountable and maintain the standards of professional practice as set by the appropriate regulatory body applicable to your profession or role.

To deliver compassionate person-centered care, and treat patients, service users, their families and their carers with consideration, dignity and the respect you would want for yourself or your family.
