Are you looking for the next step in your nursing career?Are you looking for a new challenge?Then Ardingly ward is looking for you!, The post holder will work as part of a team to provide an effective, safe environment of care for individual patients, their relatives and carers.

To be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care without supervision.

To act as the designated deputy to the Ward Manager.

To teach and supervise junior and unqualified staff and maintain a learning environment.

Caring and compassionate in nature, you must be able to work well under pressure on this very busy area. Ardingly ward cares for older people who are often frail and general medical patients including those with endocrine conditions. Flexible and part time working patterns will be considered. You will possess good interpersonal, communication skills, IT skills would be an advantage. The ability to maintain a sense of humour is a must. You will need to be committed to working within a team to deliver high quality care and will be able to work well under pressure. Work as part of a team as well as perform well as an individual. The successful candidate will be committed to good communication with colleagues, patients, their relatives.
