Full Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical or building services background who is looking to develop their career in mechanical estimating. You will work within a small, supportive team and receive direct mentorship from the Mechanical Director, gaining hands-on experience with estimating processes, pricing, and specifications across a range of M&E projects. The Role

  • Assisting with the preparation of mechanical estimates and tenders Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents Supporting the pricing of mechanical building services systems (HVAC, pipework, plumbing) Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations Assisting in compiling cost plans and tender submissions Working closely with the Mechanical Director and estimating team
    • Requirements
  • Mechanical background (Building Services, HVAC, Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering or similar) Interest in developing a career as a Mechanical Estimator Knowledge of mechanical processes, pricing or specifications would be advantageous Strong attention to detail Good communication and organisational skills Ability to work well within a small team environment
