Full Job Description

The post holder will be expected to be at CT1/2 level. The successful candidate will participate in a 1:10 on-call rota (which does not include nights).

Short-listing details and interview arrangements will be communicated via email therefore please ensure you check your email account regularly following the closing date., To work in the cardiology department and alongside other SHOs in all other specialist teams within the Heart Division. To undertake clinical work in the cardiology department. Clinical activity will include mainly inpatient care, outpatient clinics, and a quality improvement project. The junior clinical fellow will be able to attend training opportunities and educational meetings which are also offered to other junior staff in our Trust.

To provide clinical services in cardiology, in accordance with clinical and legal requirements and in keeping with the international role of the Trust.The Heart Division provides a comprehensive service for the investigation and treatment of cardiac disease. The Division is sub-divided into clinical sections with sub-speciality interests in Revascularisation, Structural Heart Disease, Heart Failure, Electrophysiology, Adult Congenital Heart Disease and Pulmonary Hypertension.

£54,499 a year Plus additional allowances dependent on rota template
