Full Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic doctor at FY2 level or above to join the Paediatrics team based at St Helier Hospital as a Trust General Paediatric SHO. This is a 6 month role initially, with the possibility of extension.

The successful post holder will obtain experience primarily in our Ward at Queen Marys Hospital for Children.

The post holder will be required to participate on the Junior rota which is 1 in 6 full shift

This is a post in General Paediatrics participating in the rolling rota. This post is recognized by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health as suitable for training and retrospective recognition of this post may be achieved.

This post is based at Queen Mary's Hospital for Children. The appointee will however work closely with colleagues on all sites, indeed the Trust expects all staff to be committed to cross-site working.
