Full Job Description
The Emergency Department (ED) is a small-medium friendly department seeing approximately 64,000 adult and paediatric patients per year. The post is fixed term for 6--12 months, a suitable start date can be agreed. RGH ED has recently made significant changes in response to Health Board changes.We are a Major Trauma Unit, Stroke Unit and have recently opened our dedicated paediatric area.
This post is fixed term due to limited funding.

These are the current applicable pay scales; however, these may change upon implementation of the framework agreement for reform to the terms and conditions of service for resident doctors and dentists in Wales. Further details can be found at BMA+-+Framework+Agreement+Wales., Roles and Responsibilities;? Key duties include the examination, investigation, treatment and referral (as appropriate) of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.? To attend safety huddles and handover? To ensure IT patient information system is kept up to date? To ensure good communication with the Nurse in charge? To ensure that you take appropriate breaks? To participate in departmental teaching and audit programme
