Junior CAD Technician (Joinery)

This is an excellent opportunity to move away from a workshop-based role and receive full training in CAD, draughting and technical design within a specialist bespoke joinery and woodworking manufacturer. You will be joining a small, family-run business where you will work closely with senior staff and directors from day one, gaining hands-on training, long-term development and clear progression as the company continues to grow. The company offers annual pay reviews, long-term career development and the opportunity to progress into a senior / management role over time, making this ideal for someone looking to build a proper career in CAD and technical manufacturing. The Role:

• Learning to produce CAD drawings for bespoke joinery and woodworking projects
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, sketches and client requirements
• Supporting the production of shop drawings, cutting lists and material schedules
• Working closely with senior CAD Technicians, workshop teams and management
• Full training to become a CAD Technician / Draughtsperson
• Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm

  Are you from a Joinery, Woodworking or similar background with the ability to read technical drawings, looking to step off the tools and become a Fully trained CAD Technician?, From a joinery, woodworking or similar background
• Able to read and understand technical drawings
• Interested in moving into CAD, design or draughting
• Looking to step off the tools into an office-based technical role
• Keen to learn, develop and progress long term
