Junior Audio Editor

Undertake a variety of duties based in our worldwide Audio Services department.,

• Become an integral part of the audio department alongside other editorial members of the team.
• Assist the Audio Services Manager and worldwide Audio Services department on a daily basis and be aware of all materials needing to be delivered from the facility via various digital platforms
• Audio editing duties to support our worldwide Audio Services department including:
+ Tracklaying + Clean up and sync + Full technical QC's of material before it is despatched to clients + Conforming audio to different picture cuts + Ensure that all deliverables are complete & delivered on time + Make deliverables for all our major clients as requested per technical specs + General file management duties + Ingest all audio data onto our servers and systems throughout the facility + Archive appropriate audio material + Follow and comply with client audio checks upon request
• Other duties include:
+ Maintaining and updating client excel sheets/trackers + Liaising with clients, client service representatives and account managers + Using internal company admin tools and processes
• Share knowledge and provide support to colleagues when required.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when required to support operational and client deadlines.
• Undertake any other duties reasonably requested by the business.
  
  Minimum 2 years' experience in audio post-production.
• Good understanding of film sound technology, including post-production processes, Avid Pro Tools, various file formats, and post-production workflows.
• Previous Audio QC experience with a strong working knowledge of Avid Pro Tools.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding client deadlines.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to team objectives.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and take on additional responsibilities as required.
• Adaptable and proactive approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
