Full Job Description
The post holder will work in a 1 in 8 EWTD compliant rota to provide anaesthetic cover in main theatres and support the on call anaesthetic team when necessary including obstetric anaesthetist and ICU.
The role will cover work at both sitesAt The Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospitalo Theatres / Anaesthesia and Perioperative care, including pre-operative assessmento Pain and analgesia serviceo Transfer of patients to other hospitalso Resuscitation service
These duties will change over time in response to the needs of the service.
The rota includes day and night shifts working at the Hillingdon site and day shifts at Mount Vernon.
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
