Join JLR's Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre and help maintain the advanced equipment used to build Battery Packs, Electric Drive Units and other electrification technology. You'll respond to breakdowns, carry out planned maintenance and help identify permanent solutions to recurring faults. You'll work with automated equipment, including robotics, welding and joining systems, conveyors, tooling and lifting equipment. Industry training is available, including Siemens, KUKA and ABB Robotics training.

Maintenance Technician

Wolverhampton

This role could suit Service Leavers, Veterans, Reservists or anyone with mechanical, electrical or multi-skilled engineering experience. You should have experience of:

• Fault-finding and repairing complex equipment


• Planned and preventative maintenance


• Working safely and following procedures


• Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime


• Working as part of a skilled engineering team

Indentured apprenticeship to BTEC Level 3 standard, or equivalent, in mechanical, electrical or maintenance engineering. Maintenance experience in a manufacturing, production or automated environment. Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
