About the Role: As a JavaScript Developer, you'll become an integral part of our agile development team, working with the latest technology on ground-breaking projects to keep the business at the forefront of our industry. You'll work on the development and maintenance of our industry leading CAD based planning system which is used by our Kitchen and Bedroom Designers to bring our customers dream to reality, as well as working on the architecture, planning and design of other innovative internal systems used across our manufacturing, transport, installations and customer service departments. The technology you will be using includes: · JavaScript / TypeScript · ReactJS · HTML5 · Canvas · NodeJS · Less There will be genuine opportunities to progress your career. You will be based in our collaborative, open environment at our head office "The Nest" in Barton upon Humber Key responsibilities of this role will include: · Build and maintain Wren's custom built, cutting edge applications · Write clean code that is clear and understandable by others · Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle · Work with senior developers, business stakeholders and wider development team to understand the initial scope for a new project What we offer:

    · At least 2 years' experience developing and maintaining JavaScript applications
  • · Knowledge of TypeScript, React, NodeJS, HTML5, Less and Canvas · Experience of using Version Control systems such as Git as part of a team · A good understanding of maths and an ability to develop complex algorithms. · Familiar with Linux or Mac OS Desirable · Understanding of JavaScript programming concepts including mixins, object composition and scope. · Experience of automated testing · Experience using utilities and build tools including Docker, Webpack, NPM, ESLint and Karma. · Experience with software design patterns such as Flux, AOP and modularity. · Experience of Agile project methodologies and its impact on iterative design · Experience of working in a continuous integration environment · Experience of retail and/or manufacturing environments and processes · Experience working with AWS and its features
