Java Lead Developer

Lead backend development within a modern cloud-based architecture, focusing on server-side logic and high performance.
- Design, develop, and maintain data sources, ensuring integration and responsiveness to front-end requests.
- Architect and implement scalable, enterprise-class solutions and reusable code for automated platforms and customer journey engineering.
- Guide and mentor other engineers, evangelizing best engineering practices and quality solutions across the full SDLC.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready features and services.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills, object-oriented design, and knowledge of microservices, Java EE (Web Services, REST, JPA), Spring, and Hibernate.
- Leverage experience with service-oriented and event-driven architectures, design patterns (Kafka desirable), and unit/BDD testing frameworks.
- Utilize GCP, GitHub, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Harness) for continuous deployment and operational excellence.
- Foster a DevOps and Agile culture focused on continuous improvement and efficient, rapid delivery.
- (Nice to have) Experience with databases (BigQuery, Spanner, PostgreSQL, Oracle), service mesh (Istio), observability platforms (Dynatrace, Splunk), MVC, and additional server-side/front-end languages.
