ITIL Process Manager

The London Ambulance Service (LAS) relies on highly available, reliable, sustainable and cost-effective digital services to support the delivery of urgent and emergency care.

The IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Process Manager is responsible for the tracking, planning, design and implementation of the ITIL Framework across the Digital & Data Directorate and all areas of the Trust where there is either contact with Digital & Data Services or a request for digital services.

The post holder will lead the smooth functioning, performance, and security of the Trust's digital services, applications and digital infrastructure through adherence to formal ITIL functions and process mandates., The role is responsible for the Service Management ITIL functional teams to deliver process and policy governance, optimisation, and continual service improvement for the Trusts' digital services. Lead the delivery of highly complex digital and Service Management programmes and projects, providing guidance and recommendations to project resource and product delivery staff on the delivery approach. Lead on key decisions related to how the Digital & Data Directorate governs and manages the day-to-day operation, emergency and critical business change and project delivery, ensuring that appropriate ITIL framework controls are in place to protect critical systems, operational efficiency and patient safety., The ITIL Process Manager, reporting to the Head of Service Management is responsible for the day-to-day management and long-term 5-year digital strategy plan improvement of all ITIL processes & functions, including:IT Asset ManagementTest & Transition ManagementChange & Release ManagementContinual Service ImprovementIT Service Management Tools
