IT TECHNICIAN required as soon as possible

Hours of work 8.00am to 4.00pm with a 30-minute lunch break

Days of work Monday to Friday

Contract type Full-time

Salary H6 Point 14 £29,540 plus London Fringe Allowance

Part-time hours considered for suitable candidate

Main areas of responsibility

The IT Technician is responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the school's IT infrastructure. The role involves working with staff and students to troubleshoot and repair minor device issues and support in the training of people in the use of IT equipment. Students and staff use both Windows devices and Chromebooks in school and this role would suit someone with experience of both systems. The role also involved liaising with external insurance and repair companies when required. Please refer to the job description for a more detailed breakdown of responsibilities.

In accordance with the school's admissions criteria, children of staff at the school are eligible to be allocated a place under this criterion where the member of staff is recruited under a contract of employment to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage.

The school has been graded outstanding by Ofsted. The school was inspected by Ofsted in the June of 2024 and found to be 'Outstanding' in every category. The inspectors described the school as a "highly happy and purposeful place to be" and that "pupils treat each other with the utmost tolerance and respect". They also referred to the "exceptional work" pupils produce and the "wealth of wider opportunities that promote personal development."
