Full Job Description
Location: Based from our Head Office with regular travel to our services across London, Luton, Kent, and Brighton (expenses paid). Please note that not all of our service sites are wheelchair accessible.
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to support us in tracking ICT equipment across our services. In this role, you will visit different sites, engage with staff, and record the equipment currently in use. You will also help identify any items that are faulty, missing, or in need of attention.
Your contribution will play an important role in helping us prioritise ICT needs across the organisation. By ensuring our teams have the right technology in place, you will be supporting them to deliver high-quality services to residents and participants.
Reliable ICT is fundamental to everything we do, and your support will help keep it running smoothly.
What is the Commitment?
We have more than 35 services which we need to track the tech within. This is a short-term project that would ideally be completed within 6-8 months, as only one visit to each service is needed. We can be very flexible around the dates and times that work best for you to volunteer, though all volunteering must take place within our head office hours (Monday - Friday 9am- 5pm) so we can support you during visits.
We are looking for volunteers who are friendly and reliable with
Working knowledge of ICT: Able to identify tech models and ask relevant follow-up questions to get a full picture of tech support needs.
Clear communication and accurate record keeping.
Confidence to volunteer alone (with remote support) and a friendly approach.

Provide the training and guidance you need to understand the context of our services and to keep you and residents and participants safe.
Provide regular supervision and opportunities to provide feedback on your experience.
You will be eligible to register with Blue Light Discount Card.
