Key Tasks and Objectives of our IT Systems & Support Engineer:

• 1st / 2nd line user support role
• Perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of desktop problems for end-users
• Helpdesk Administration (Site Helpdesk)
• Setting up new users (hardware & applications) ensuring joiners, leavers and movers are processed diligently
• Device administration of telephones, mobile phones and other mobile devices including Apple iOS/iPhones and Android
• Windows 11 OS support
• Microsoft/Office 365 + In-Tune support
• MS Active Directory maintenance (Creations, Deletions, Password resets, group maintenance)
• Microsoft Sharepoint administration
• Operational manufacturing systems and infrastructure support including RF equipment, printers & workstations
• Information collation Serial numbers/kit inventory management
• Responsibilities are not limited to the above description and may be modified at any time ongoing
  
  Telephone and desk-side based support will be required, and training will be given for all expected tasks. The successful candidate will be highly personable with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and users. Suitable candidates will possess 1-3 years 1st and 2nd line experience in a similar role, good technical knowledge across Hardware, Software and Networking activities.

• Previous role in IT support in a corporate environment
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 - support and implementation experience/skills
• Windows 11, Server and Active Directory knowledge
• Microsoft Sharepoint administration and manipulation
• Networking experience LANS, WANS, DHCP, VLANS, WiFi etc
• Experience of setting up PCs, laptops, new starters and resolving issues
• Previous experience of telephone-based IT support and customer service
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Articulate, with clear verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand and communicate technical issues to non-technical users
• An active interest in General IT especially in fault finding, diagnosing issues and finding solutions
• Friendly and approachable person with a polite and professional manner
• A customer focused mentality and helpful telephone manner
• The ability to multi-task effectively and prioritise workload plus well organised with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to deal with high workloads and changing priorities including involvement in IT projects
• The ability to work under pressure with the drive to work pro-actively, independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills:
• French, Spanish, Portuguese speaker
• Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge
