Consultant who will proactively consult, advise on solutions and manage state-of-the-art projects such as the automation of the largest Distribution Centre in the Lidl estate in Luton using SAP EWM. What you'll doCollaborate with business consultants on potential new solutions and improvements to existing solutionsEnsure the stability, security and quality of provided solutionsInternal and external resource management and report to team managerManaging and co-ordinating tasks with team and stakeholdersProvide solutions to the business in a cost-efficient way whilst maintaining security, functionality and time-to-marketMaintain a comprehensive knowledge of the technical infrastructure as well as components / platforms in useProvide support and incident management for applicable solutionsEnsure solution investments and costs are accurately planned for in accordance with the annual planning processParticipate in and lead projects at both national and international levelManage Goods Issue Logistics solutions throughout their lifecycle from conception through to retirementCollaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure the success and smooth operation of solutionsExecute SAP EWM customising and manage the deployment and configuration of onsite warehouse hardware. What you'll needWorking knowledge of logistics solutions, comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes and operations essentialAn understanding of application security and governance practices is highly beneficialExperience of project and stakeholder management essentialKnowledge of SAP EWM specifically WH Internal processes and Goods Issue essentialExperience configuring hardware essentialKnowledge of Incident Management and Release Management beneficialTechnical knowledge of WH Infrastructure beneficialKnowledge of requirement gathering essentialSQL knowledge beneficialThe ability to liaise and communicate at both a technical and non-technical levelA strong team mentality and good collaboration ethosComfortable multitasking a diverse portfolio of projects and tasksA technical and inquisitive mindsetStrong ownership of tasks and a keen eye for detailProactive in keeping up to date with the latest technologiesExcellent presentation and communication skills essentialOccasional travel to European countries requiredGerman language skills are desirable, but not essentialWhat you'll receive35 days holiday (pro rata) 10% in-store discount
