Full Job Description
We have a new opportunity to be part of the IT team in the role of IT Project Manager lead IT projects within the team, ensuring the efficient and scalable delivery of IT systems and solutions that are compliant with regulatory requirements. As our IT Project Manager you will be actively contributing towards the team's overarching goal of consistently achieving top-three results in the FIA Constructors Championship.
You will be responsible for:
+ Building strong stakeholder engagement with business leads.
+ Conducting discovery and mapping of business and technical requirements through interviews, process analysis, and workshops.
+ Collaborating with IT Project Managers and Solution Architects to assist in developing business cases, gathering metrics and examples to outline current and desired states.
+ Mapping relevant information and data, including business processes, operational workflows, and team needs.
+ Conducting impact assessments and provide recommendations for changes, including proposals to optimise organisational structures, roles, and processes.
+ Planning, transitioning, and embedding new ways of working, addressing skills and resource gaps, and implementing operating procedures with the wider IT team.
+ Supporting the development, testing, and deployment of IT solutions, ensuring scope, cost, schedule, quality, adoption, and value outcomes are achieved.
+ Assisting in creating business cases and financial models for digital transformation initiatives within excluded functions, in collaboration with SMEs.
+ Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to your job role.
What you will need to be successful in this role
+ Possess an excellent working knowledge of IT systems and tools, including ERP, CRM, and analytics platforms.
+ Possess a thorough understanding of FIA Financial Cost Cap Regulations, specifically as they pertain to excluded functions.
+ Demonstrate a good working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Jira).
+ Previous experience as a Business Analyst or similar in a Formula 1 or high-performance motorsport environment.
+ Be available to travel as and when required to fulfil the requirements of the role in which employed.
+ To be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment.
+ Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales.
+ Ability to remain calm under pressure.
+ To communicate effectively, positively, and respectfully with all colleagues.
+ To have a flexible attitude and the ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
+ Be results-orientated and confident in your decision-making skills.
+ Be enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop, and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
+ Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety.
This is a full-time office-based role based at our campus in Silverstone, with additional requirement to travel to other locations where necessary.
