About the Role

As a Lecturer in Digital Technologies, you will develop and deliver high-quality learning programmes to students with a range of abilities and aspirations. You will teach across Digital and IT subjects, including Foundation Degree-level qualifications, using a variety of teaching methods to create stimulating and inclusive learning experiences.

You will play a key role in supporting student achievement, progression, and wellbeing while contributing to the continued success and growth of the department.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and outstanding Digital and IT learning programmes.

Plan and teach lessons that inspire students and support high levels of achievement.

Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback on student work.

Monitor and support learner progress, ensuring individual learning needs are met.

Provide academic and pastoral support to students.

Lead programmes or courses, maintaining high standards of behaviour and performance.

Embed Maths, English, and digital skills within teaching and learning.

Support student recruitment, enrolment, retention, and progression activities.

Work collaboratively with parents, employers, external agencies, and student support services.

Analyse course and performance data to drive continuous improvement.
